More than a buzzword, the Enneagram is a personality typing system that describes human personality as a number of interconnected, numerical types. As an indicator based on motivation rather than behavior, there’s little to push against and much to embrace as an effective tool for self-examination. Once we understand how we uniquely and intuitively view the world, we can begin to adjust what we do with how we see it.

Enneagram Stances are determined by the extent to which each of us struggles most with: our capacity for either thinking, feeling, or doing. Each personality has weaknesses rooted in our Enneagram type tied to these three centers. Awareness of one’s stance is a unique approach to the Enneagram that helps you become aware of how your personality prioritizes these three centers and which of the three is the least comfortable, for your personality.
